"Starchy clothes--very. You think you're a gooddeal of a big-bug. don't you?" (ch. 5, pg 14,par3)
I think that the quote is relating to how parents are some what jealous of their children. It relates to my theme because many children don't have very strong relationships with their parents. But if i relate it to my life it is some what like that me and my dad stay together so it it relates to the book some what.
I think it relates to Mark Twain's life a little bit because he has to deal with things like this everyday. He doesn't have a parent to talk and buy him things, Because he was on the river at the age of 13. Basically he relates to this in his own way because he had to deal with this most of his life, Because his father is a drunk and he hates the women who takes care of him.
